Copyright

By placing an order the customer expresses their right to reproduce the supplied image under copyright law as described under The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. All photographs and negatives provided for restoration, printing or archiving are accepted on the strict understanding that the provider owns copyright or permission has been obtained from the owner in writing. As such the client is fully liable for any breach of copyright, in addition if there is any question of breaching the copyright law then work will be withheld until clarification can be confirmed.

Delivery

Greenfire Graphix will only accept responsibility for loss or damage to your original photographs while in its care if it is deemed to be negligent. Any damage or loss while being delivered will be covered by Royal Mail in accordance to the chosen delivery method. Therefore you are advised to send your photographs either by recorded delivery (insured up to £36), by Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day (by 1pm, cheapest option, insured up to £2500) or by insuring against consequential loss with Royal Mail (insured up to £10,000).

Your photo’s will be sent directly to you from Greenfire Graphix via Royal Mail’s

Quality

In all cases we will endeavour to produce the very best quality photographs. We will, however be restrained by the quality of original material. Colour & tint will be chosen in keeping with originals (in an effort to restore the photo’s to their original state) & where disputed will be communicated & discussed with the client.

The finish of photos will remain the choice of the client (i.e. gloss, matte or media). For lasting quality it is advised that the photo’s are either kept in a photo album or under glass and, ideally, out of direct sunlight (as this will help protect them from damage and excessive fading).

Payment

Payment can be made by Cheque or online via this site & is due once a (low resolution digital) proof has been accepted & before delivery is made.

Greenfire Graphix has the right to refuse business at it’s own discretion.

Promotion

Greenfire Graphix will, at times, ask certain clients if their photographs can be used in promotional purposes such as advertising or, more likely, be placed in the online galleries on this site. The client has every right to refuse and no further action or contact will be undertaken by Greenfire Graphix for this purpose.
