Photographic Restoration and Alteration

This service entails the restoration, via digital technology, of old, damaged or faded photographs, preserving a families memories. This service also extends to digital photographs that have any unwanted objects/people such as in the examples to the right which, in the original, have a fire extinguisher, a fire alarm and some candle lanterns that detract from the image. In conjunction with minor tweaks to the image these have been removed.

Using a top rated scanner your photographs are scanned in to the very latest version of Photoshop (64-bit version of CS4) at a high resolution where they are restored using skills and techniques that have been acquired over many years. Once completed to a high standard the restored/altered photograph is then printed out on high quality paper, using only the very best inks giving a quality equal too or better than a photograph from a lab. We also have the ability to scan in negatives and slides.

You have a choice of heavy, high quality paper - glossy, semi-gloss (like you would get from a photo lab) or matte.

Price List -

Prices for restoration and alteration work will vary depending upon the amount of work required but will not exceed an absolute maximum of £25 (which covers photo’s that are in bits and require a complete rebuild).

All prices includes an average 20% increase in size unless otherwise requested

This service also extends to altering photographs, scanned or digital, by removing or adding elements to a photograph such as an unsightly fire extinguisher in a wedding photo (as in the example). It’s up to you.

All photo’s can be put on DVD/CD to play on a standard DVD player.

DVD Production

Using professional software we can take footage from MiniDV tapes, edit video footage and create professional level DVD’s to play on a standard DVD player. Subject matter is immaterial, you can have a wedding video edited and burned to DVD or a corporate information video (including animation if desired).
