An idea created while doing my second Animex project. At the time I had neither the resources, hardware o, frankly, the talent to fully realise the ideas that I had. However I was extremely lucky in finding an excellent voice over artist in the form of Karen McCarthy, I worked with this talented individual over the internet (with her being based in the US) to produce the perfect voice for the main character.

The story itself is based here in the UK (Newcastle-upon-Tyne to be precise) and looks at the rampant commercialisation of diddling with DNA and its introduction into the cosmetics industry. This is brought about by a revolutionary process of delivering the altered genetic material and the time in which it takes to effect the patient. As everything humanity creates someone somewhere decides to abuse the technology and a host of black market ‘surgeries’ spring up offering cut-price treatment, no boundaries. The story revolves around a nurse, working in the vastly expanded Royal Stephenson hospital on the genetics ward.

While the initial out look of this may, at first glance, be knocking the whole genetic engineering idea it’s far from it as I whole-heartedly support such things.
